Role: Garden Centre Assistant

Description
Blueskin Nurseries & Cafe is an independent garden centre in Waitati, (15 minutes north of Dunedin). We have the largest selection of trees and shrubs in Otago. We are a friendly team who strive to give sound horticultural advice.
We are looking for a new member to join our growing team of garden enthusiasts. An all-rounder, who is good with people and plants. We are looking for someone who is creative with the ability to put together effective retail displays, serve customers and help with the day to day running of a garden centre.
We are looking for someone with the following qualities:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Be able to work well in a team environment.
- Retail experience would be an advantage.
- Physically fit and willing to work in the outdoor environment, in all weather
- Enthusiastic gardener – a good horticultural knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.
- Must be able to work one weekend day every week. Applicants will require a vaccine passport to apply for the job.
