Role: Native Plant Nursery Delivery Driver
Location: Kaipara, Northland
Description
We are looking for a Plant Delivery Driver with a Class 2 License. The primary role will be driving the Delivery Truck, sending Native Plants to restoration projects all over Aoteroa. The position we are offering will make you feel great about the end result of your Mahi with Native Plants going in the ground to help our Whenua You will need a reasonable level of fitness, and a good work ethic. If successful you will be joining an enthusiastic, motivated group of people in a friendly work environment. We offer competitive Industry wages.
Duties will include but not limited to
- Loading and unloading the Plant Truck
- Delivering both Local and Out of Town Deliveries
- Nursery & Yard Work
- Adhering to all Health and Safety standards and Quality Assurance Program
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Capable of working independently.
- Positive, practical & self-motivated
- Physically fit and strong
- Attention to detail.
- Reliable
- Able to follow instruction.
- Must have a “can do” attitude
- Flexible work approach with some early starts or late finishes
Applicants with knowledge of Native Plants or have Nursery experience would be advantaged and should clearly state this on their application.
