Role: Admin and Coordinator Support

Location: Nelson, Tasman

Due to a recent promotion within our sales team, we are seeking someone who can fill the role of Sales and Administration coordinator. This person would bring experience working within a sales environment or has a strong background in administration duties as well as looking after customer needs from order through to delivery. This is a support role that requires good organisational skills, excellent communication and proficient with office type applications. Some financial knowledge could be advantageous along with excellent written skills.

The Admin and Coordination support position would suit someone who has the following attributes:

  • Proficient in administration, coordination
  • Very organised and has an eye for detail
  • Skilled with popular Office applications and is computer literate
  • Loves interacting and dealing with people
  • Thrives on working in a role that has many aspects to it
  • Has a reputation of someone who is a pleasure to be around
  • Interest in horticulture would be advantageous

This role is perfect for you if you have the skills and experience listed above and thrives when in working in a dynamic team environment. Due to this being a supporting role to the existing team, it will provide an opportunity for you to expand your experience within horticulture. It is a Nelson based position that has a national focus, therefore some domestic travel may be required.

Alongside our primary operation we also have a tissue culture lab facility in Hawkes Bay and a new addition of a nursery operation located in Auckland. We are a family-owned multi-generational company that was established in 1971 and has a reputation for supply of quality product to both the commercial and retail markets.
