Role: Sales Coordinator

Description
Due to continued market growth, Waimea Group is expanding our sales team. We have established a new full-time position that will offer support to our front-line sales team and involves frequent interaction with our customers, ensuring they always receive a great experience when dealing with us. The position forms part of an existing sales team and reports to the Group GM – Sales and Variety Management.
The Sales Coordinator position would suit someone who has the following attributes:
- Proficient in administration, coordination
- Very organised and has an eye for detail
- Skilled with popular Office applications and is computer literate
- Loves interacting and dealing with people
- Thrives on working in a role that has many aspects to it
- Has a reputation of someone who is a pleasure to be around
- Interest in horticulture would be advantageous
This role is perfect for someone who is looking at a career in sales as it will provide the opportunity for you to expand your experience as a sales professional. You will be working within a tight team who are experienced in both sales and the horticulture industry. This is a Nelson based business that has a national focus so therefore some domestic travel will be required.

Waimea Group has one of New Zealand’s largest commercial nurseries (Waimea Nurseries), growing fruit trees for orchardists and fruit, ornamental and berry plants for garden retailers. Alongside our primary operation we also have a tissue culture lab facility in Hawkes Bay and a new addition of new nursery located in Auckland. We are a family-owned multi-generational company that was established in 1971 and has a reputation for supply of quality product to both the commercial and retail markets.
