It was a great day out for members in Blenheim, who got to tour through the nursery and observe operations underway in the grafting shed and outdoors in the nursery beds.
Sarah Watson from People Mad led a session on LEAN in the nursery with teams spending time together working on ideas to identify and eliminate waste (defects, over production, waiting, extra-processing, under-utilised talent etc etc).
We also got to see Ormond Nurseries latest machine in action.
