MPI's Plant Health and Environment Laboratory (PHEL) and NZ Plant Producers Inc. are hosting an event for members on 26 May 2021.
We will hear from MPI staff about the latest developments at PHEL, including testing methods and a laboratory tour. We will hear from the North Island post-entry quarantine inspector about his role, and the role of the quarantine inspector.
The Manager of the Plant Germplasm Imports team will talk to us about the work underway in Head Office, and there will be a discussion session focusing on opportunities to grow New Zealand through plant germplasm imports.
Matt Dolan will present an update on NZPPI's initiatives in Biosecurity and risk management across the nursery sector.
