A SHED meeting will be held at Riversun Nursery, Gisborne, where you have a unique opportunity to see how NZ's premium supplier of certified grapevines, avocado trees and kiwifruit vines is taking a proactive approach to tackling the challenges facing modern nursery businesses in the areas of sustainability, workforce and production.

This SHED meeting will be held at their field nursery in Whatatutu (around a 30min drive inland from Gisborne) on Thursday 3rd December at 12pm.

SHED stands for See, Hear, Engage, Debate. They are a chance for members from around a region to come together to connect and share ideas and expertise.

A tour of the spectacular field nursery will be followed by a talk from Geoff Thorpe, the owner of Riversun Nursery. He will be focusing on Riversun's sustainability journey. Beginning in earnest in 2013, it has led to a full reworking of their business strategic plan, covering not only the environmental aspects but social, cultural, and financial as well. Matt Dolan will also provide an update on NZPPI’s latest activities.

Lunch and afternoon tea will be provided - please inform us of any dietary requirements.
