Role: Nursery Sales and Retail Assistant
Location: Christchurch
We are a family-owned production and retail nursery, now in its second generation, that grows and supplies a top range of large trees not often found anywhere else. Our roots have run deep, and we have grown into one of the best around.
We are seeking a Nursery Sales and Retail Assistant to join our team. This is a full time role working Tuesday to Saturday inclusive.
To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for plants, gardening and the environment in general, be a team player, use initiative, be able to work rain or shine, have enthusiasm, and have a desire to learn.
The ideal candidate will have
A good knowledge of trees, plants and plant care
Previous work experience in the nursery/horticulture sector
Strong customer service skills
Ability to liaise with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders
Good communication skills and a pleasant phone manner
Physically fit and healthy, some heavy lifting may be involved
Clean NZ manual drivers licence
