We are delighted to invite you to attend our upcoming "Technical Careers in STEM" Expo on Thursday 29 June 10am-12:30pm in Hornby.
This initiative is brought to you by Connected.govt.nz, Ministry for Primary Industries, NZ Plant Producers Inc, and Ministry of Social Development.
The event is designed to showcase the vast range of practical and professional technical STEM careers available in Canterbury. Alongside training providers there will be a strong employer presence across these industries who are either hiring, or willing to talk with job seekers about what it takes to work in their industry.
This event will target all New Zealanders looking for the next step in their career. This may include, yet is not limited to: Job Seekers, Career Changers, as well as Tertiary and High School students considering their options, post education.
The room will be set up "expo style" each stallholder will have an opportunity to speak for 2 minutes about the opportunities within their business or organisation. Following this, attendees are encouraged to network with the businesses and organisations.
