Ardmore Nurseries is a wholesale plant nursery near Clevedon, Auckland. We grow a huge range of field and container plants, including trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses, ferns and climbers. We sell to landscapers, developers and retail garden centres. We operate on a site of 13.5ha, with 25-35 employees. A forward-looking and positive team make Ardmore Nurseries a great place to work.
We are looking for a team player who has an interest in plants and a passion for customer service to to join our team.
Your main duties will include: *Serving customers in house, on the phone and via email *Entering orders and providing quotes *Scheduling deliveries on our truck as well as liaising with outside carriers *Occasionally assisting with picking orders for dispatch
You will have the following skills: *Customer service focus *Good interpersonal skills including a professional and friendly manner *Adaptability and the ability to pull together and do what’s required to meet team targets *Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure *Good computer skills – including intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills *Plant knowledge
Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 5pm.
