At InfraCore we work within the public utilities and services space with a particular focus on three waters infrastructure, open spaces, city cleaning, general civil works and nursery services.  We deliver a range of operations and maintenance services under long term contracts, as well as taking on specific project works.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic horticulturalist to join our team! This permanent full time role presents a fantastic opportunity for the right person. The role is responsible for supporting the Premier Gardens Supervisor with daily operational needs, and providing horticultural knowledge, advice and support to other team members and customers. This position may be required to work weekends and across other related teams as required.

About you

You're physically fit, passionate about gardening, and possess a strong knowledge of annual bedding plants, perennial plants, and general plant maintenance and have experience in operating machinery. You'll pride yourself on your attention to detail. You'll also possess the following attributes:

• Level 4 Horticultural qualification
• Drivers Licence class 1
• A proven ability to work unsupervised and be able to demonstrate self-motivation and initiative.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working within the gardening sector, preferably in environment
• Competent in operating electronic devices for reporting purposes
