Role: Plant Nursery Worker

Description

Leacroft Nurseries is Wellington's leading wholesale/retail production plant nursery situated in Pauatahanui, near Porirua.

We are looking for a full-time keen, reliable nursery assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for those who love to work outdoors and appreciate the opportunity to work with their hands to achieve real tangible results!

Work hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm, five days per week (which includes two weekend days per month).

Duties would involve all facets of nursery work including plant propagation, plant maintenance, as well as customer service.

The ideal applicant will have:

• A willingness to work outside
• An interest in horticulture
• A strong work ethic
• Be physically fit
• An ability to work well in a team environment
• Good people skills & be well presented.
• Own transport
• Ability to work weekends when required.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Remuneration will be based on experience of preferred candidate. Immediate start.
