Rural Design is family owned business that is based on a magnificent 400acre farm in Kaiwaka, Northland where we are specialists in Ecological Consultancy, Environmental Restoration, and Native Plant Supply. We have a strong emphasis on Kaitiakitanga, our Company Values and Culture Due to the rapid growth of our business, we have a Dispatch Manager position we need to fill in our Native Plant Nursery.
To apply for this role, you will need to possess the following:
- A strong work ethic
- A medium to advanced knowledge of Botany
- Basic Mathematic skills
- Great communication and people skills
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
- A good level of fitness
- Management experience is preferred
Your Duties will include but not limited to:
- Able to keep accurate records and schedules for deliveries.
- Liaise with Sales and Inventory Staff
- Ability to coordinate our Truck Driver and the picking/grading team to ensure good quality plants are picked
- Have flexibility on occasion at busy times. Longer hours may be required to ensure orders are ready for transporting
- Proficient Computer skills are a must using our Nursery Inventory System also used to apply documentation and labels for all outgoing orders, email and Excel
